The New School: The best Marketing Communication course in the Netherlands according to the Keuzegids 2024.
Here are some professional projects I created during my first two years at The New School Amsterdam. This program has offered me a variety of subjects, such as professional writing, advertising psychology, marketing communication, and design. I’m giving you a glimpse behind the scenes of my work.
I’ve already been able to develop myself in many different areas. I believe I can be a valuable asset to a company because I am socially intelligent, communicatively strong, and, above all, highly creative. I look forward to further developing my skills and gaining insight into the professional world.
Magazine week
Last month we visited Lyon with our entire second year visited Lyon. We worked with 45 students to work on a magazin about Lyon. I had enrolled in the decipline graphic design. I was assigned to the group "culinary". Together with the photographers and writers I and my fellow students designed these pages for the magazine. We incorporated incorporated the French style into our design. We chose to use organic shapes. I am very proud of the final result!
Rebranding AMWB
For this assignment, we had to work with a classmate to pick a brand to rebrand. Together with my classmate, we chose ANWB.
Process
Children's book
For the Graphic Arts course, we learned to work with the illustrator progamma through the creation of a children's book. During the process, I could use my creativity. I enjoyed learning about the progamma this way. I am still still very satisfied with the end result. It shows me how to turn my creative ideas into a product.
My children's book is presented at the open days to give potential students an idea of the Graphic Arts course.
